New shockers for Octavia

Featured Replies

:)

I have a skoda Octavia Tdi 110 Elegance its now reached 74,000 miles and I've noticed that the car bounces all over the place on the road. I presume that the shockers need replacing can anyone recommend a good set of shockers? Also where to buy them from.

Many thanks

Hi there,

Try Koni FSDs, check out full details here;- Koni FSD. The first shock absorber offering superior road-holding without compromising comfort.

Simply the konis are 'trick' in shock absorber terms in that they are firm/stiff to low frequency movement i.e. braking/cornering for improved handling, but soft and comfortable to high frequency movement i.e. ripples in the road/broken tarmac etc. for good ride comfort, with the benefit in that they operate hydraulically so have no fancy electronics to connect them or go wrong.

Can be got from Awesome GTi (who are not far from you) or JKM at competitive prices; they will also fit them for you.

Good luck.
