New struts or rear ARB

Featured Replies

Ok, at the mo im not gonna have the money to do both, so i want to know which would be better to do first, go for Koni FSD's or a Rear ARB?

Cheers Andy

Which is more of an issue for you; a general feeling that the car's under-damped, or a desire for less understeer in the dry?

If the car just feels under-damped, new dampers.

If it's understeery but the damping is ok, ARB.

I think really that its abit more understeery. ( If thats a word)

So the Rear ARB will help reduce understeer then.

Also, if i was to change just the front struts would that **** up my handling without changing the backs? Just wondering as its mainly the front that can fell a little under-damped

I've driven a car with mis-matched front and rear damper rates; not an experience I want to to repeat! They're ok on smooth roads, or odd bumps, but undulating roads lead to a state where you can feel the ends getting out of phase with each other, and have to back off and slow down as a result.
