I'm really starting to feel handicapped by not having a vagcom system and since I recently purchased a laptop I think the time has come to bite the bullet. My car is a Mk1 Octavia vRS (Registered Jan 2003). Please excuse my ignorance but I'm unsure exactly which version I need to buy :confused:

Ross-Tech: VAG-COM: Interfaces

The KEY series will do everything necessary, while the HEX+CAN series would give you the possibility of working on newer cars too (e.g. the new Octavia). Both work with the latest version of VAG-COM.
