Buying the MP3 player ==> Car cable

Featured Replies

All,

Where is the best and cheapest place to get the 3.5mm cable that links an MP3 player to the aux. input on the 'Tavia? I've seen a Belkin one in Dixons but it was over

Is this just a 3.5mm jack to 3.5mm jack ?

I think so, unless anyone else corrects me.

Thanks. I've just bought a 1.2m long one - the 5m was a bit big!

It was a "stereo" lead and not a "mono" lead.

Dropped this mistake myself once before. If you bought it from the one above then your good.

Thanks.

The other option is Maplin, although you'll pay more than 99p, although when you allow for p&p, it's not much more.

It depends where you are trying to reach to - I use the cable to reach my SatNav unit (on the dash), so I've hidden the cable and routed it behind the dash - in this scenario I a 1.2m cable is too short (I think I used a 3m cable).
