Is that the guy that put the wrong anti-freeze in your car ?

I m going to leave the anti freeze in the car - It seems to be working fine - And besides I m not convinced the VAG collant is superior to the stuff he used -

His was in a huge barrel which is used for all cars regardless of mileage

Well, you can take this advice or ignore it if you want Joey but it would't be me mixing red G12 (an organic acid based antifreeze) with blue (a glycol based antifreeze) as I'm told it eventually develops a nice sort of gel which clogs up the cooling system but if you are happy with it ....... fair enough !!!.

Hang on a sec -

The guy actually drained the old anti freeze completely - I saw him put new blue anti freeze in there...

Do you think its a genuine problem? I could nt understand why it had turned pink though

Then why dont you do what most people do and join freedom, after all its only a small amount compared to what you get in return. Then you would be helping to keep this forum going instead of just asking questions every other day.

I have only been a member for a short while but in this time i have had some interesting conversations, been given some sound advice and made a few freinds along the way.

Its well worth it, go green:thumbup:
