Vibrating rear end

Featured Replies

I've have an issue where I'm slowing down in traffic and at about 1,500 rpm I can sometimes hear a vibrating noise which is coming from the back of the car. I'm thinking it might be the exhaust, but has anyone else come across this. I hope it's not suspension.

Is it me or do the central outlet vents on the Octavia let any air out?? I've tried no end of combinations with the conrtol dials but nothing seems comes out of them.

Thanks.

Regarding the vents, I had a problem with one of mine and it turned out some wiring hadn't been connected up..

Thanks for that. Next time I'm passing the garage I'll pop in and mention it and see if they can sort it out.

Popped into the Garage last week and they had a look at the vents and sure enough they were not connected, in fact there was no cable, so they have ordered one and I've got it booked in for this Friday.

They also said that the vibrating was a hole in the exhaust heat pipe, which they have now sealed and it's worked a treat.

Thanks
