Octavia vRS 240

Featured Replies

Seat have now launched the Leon Cupra R with a 240Bhp version of the 2.0 TFSI

I wonder if Skoda will put this in the vRS soon:rolleyes:

Hopefully it will be before i change my vRS for a new one next year:rofl:

I think we should start a petition and send it to VW/Skoda to ask them to bring out a new vRS with the 240Bhp engine in.

They could even call it the vRS 240:rofl:

Its doubtful as they never put the 225 1.8T into the Octy

Not likely to happen -- the S3 only has 265 -- the GTi would have to have an upgrade first before they would allow it.

ahh but never under estimate people power if enough people petition we could make it happen.

Look at snakes on a plane people on the internet decided how that film should end up:P

It has, the Edition 30.

It has, the Edition 30.

True, but that's only 230bhp and it's a limited edition.

I'm not sure how limited it is, still plenty of supply.

Also betting there isnt much difference if any between 230 and 240 brake engines and code, more than likely a little marketing massaging of the figures.

Correction.. Its a Cupra. Not a Cupra R

Oops thats twice ive been wrong in one day:rofl:

I can't see Skoda being allowed to lead the performance pack to be honest. Be good if they were allowed though. :)

They did with the MK I for a while over the Golf GTI

yea i wish we could get the up-rated blocks,i know it wont happen but i would be great.

I'm sure for the serious modder... It wouldn't take a lot to convert. I suppose it's like converting from a K03 to a K03s. Bit's and bobs needed, but can be done I'm sure.

My car was chiptuned by ABT Sportsline upto 240 bhp.......
