Howdy! I've been a member for a while now but never got around to leaving a post. Great site answers all problems & good for a browse. I've had a vRS Octavia Mk1 (02 plate) for over a year now. Great car so long as you avoid the pheasants trying to head-butt you at 90mph. (I failed but suspect this problem is not exclusive to Octavias!!)

On test driving the vRS I felt it gave a good thump of power when accellerating from any revs but at the same time I expected more of a surge when the turbo kicked in. I take it that this is just the way they are? i.e. refined (unlike me)

It's a quick car but doesn't give the sensation of power I expected. Any thoughts??
