New poster, long time skoda fan

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

I thought I'd sign up and say hi! I bought my first Skoda in 1998 - a Metalic Green Felicia GLXi and fell in love. People took the mickey out of me (most of my colleagues were driving VWs, Audis BMWs etc., but I was just starting out). I did about 90k miles in 5 years and then ordered a Blue Estate 20V Octavia Laurin and Klement in 2003. Again, I fell even more in love with the Skoda, and the laughing seemed to stop - having done 85k in 4 years, I cannot complain. Today, I dropped my Felicia off at the garage as a trade in and picked up my new Superb in Anthracite Grey, the Laurin and Klement 2.5 TDI Trip. I am in love again and my wife has inherited the Octavia.

My mother in law has a Fabia based on my recommendations, and my BIL drove a Felicia Fun for a while based on my recommendations too. So I suppose I really am a Skoda man. I test drove about 30 cars over the last year, from Diahatsu and Dodge, to Audi and BWM, and I still felt the Superb L&K was the best choice on the market. Glad I found this community.

We live in Bedfordshire but I travel all over the country.

Welcome :wavey:

So you can definately say you're a SkodaNut :)
