How Much Torque

Featured Replies

This is for all those in the know about Tuning

ABT tuning here in germany claim the following

200ps to 255ps (tho in small print reads dependant on engine and varies from 245 - 255)

280nmto 350nm or 207 lb/ft to 258 lb/ft

Revo claim the following

200ps to 255ps

280nm to 386nm or 207lb/ft to 285lb/ft

Now i know from previous discussions the PS is going to be around 240.

But has anyone actually found out if the claim by Revo of 285 lb/ft is true cos if so then that is the tuning programme i will have, as more torque means more pulling power;) (bit like having the gift of the gab i think:rofl:  )

Please only answer if you have had it proved by rolling road or other measuring method

Also if i just have the Re-map will it be affected with standard exhaust and air filter as SWMBO is having none of me spending

Of the RR runs I have seen with REVO the torque is very impressive and normally between 300 and 320lbft.

One thing I have seen people make good use of with REVO is the facility to change the boost and timing levels and the car's mod state changes.

Like we have discussed before in a previous thread, figures often quoted by tuning companies are only meant to be a guideline and again I can only base my judgement on REVO but the claimed and actual appear to be pretty close with some achieving over 300ft/lbs of torque from just a StageI map.
