Hi everyone, just thought i'd say hello. I've been reading through a lot of threads about the fabia vrs. I was quite surprised how many faults people have had with it considering the much publicised reliability surveys. I personally have just sold my Honda S2000 to be replaced by a vrs se which is due in a couple of weeks. I can tell you the Honda was bullet proof and I only hope I have the same trouble free motoring with the Skoda. I am very interested in a remap but have the same warranty concerns as most. I am also wondering why optional extras cant be specified on this car. Dissapointing. Anyway if anyone can shed any light on this it would be much appreciated.

Oh yeah can anyone confirm wether or not the numbers are stitched into the seats or embossed. Cheers..

They are embossed onto the seats.

The are some pictures on here of the new vRS, im sure someone will post some of the seats, or use the search.

No factory options can be specified on the LE, they have all been built to one spec.

And as for the faults, well yes there are/were a few but remember if someone has a problem they will post to ask about it. As a lot of people have joined for that sole purpose then it gives a slightly biased view. There are many vRS owners that have had zero faults with thier cars, its just they dont post on here.

Good photos, paint colour looks great. Bit dissapointed with the seat numbers, they look like an afterthougt. Not to sure about that blue piping either. My dealer Alex Lawrie in Liverpool has told me that they are trying to get all 15 of their allocation delivered by the end of the month. I bought the 14th one so i'm not expecting it too soon. Just seen one advertised on new car discount for £12690. How can they have them when the main dealers cant get em?
