vRS Alloy Wheel Paint Code

Featured Replies

My 2 week old Tavia has a stone chip on the wheel already (it has done 1000miles). Does anyone know if Skoda do a touch up stick for the alloys? I'll be calling the stealer later today to order a red stick for the body and thought I'd ask for a wheel one as well.

Try and get your hands on BBS wheel silver. Its a close match to a lot of alloys. Made by wurth.

Have used VW Reflex Silver and or Ford Strato Silver to touch up alloys to good effect. Just had mine smart repaired after having all 4 damaged by an a**e whole of a tyre fitter getting it wrong!

The guy who did the smart repair said there are 7 shades of alloy silver & no paint code, just have to get a good match with your eye! He reckoned mine were a "heavy silver blue flake" and did an outstanding job with the repairs!

Would have him do them again if needed!!

the colour for the wheels is a vw colour made up of ici tinters p425-984 and 192-528 will get the correct name for the colour tommorow

I might go speak to VW to see if they do a touch up for VW alloys. I could really do with something in a couple of places. :)

I painted my hubs with Smooth Hammerite Silver paint and while doing so used the same paint to touch up a few 'dings' on the alloys, turned out to be a perfect match

the colour is vw alloy silver that is the name alloy silver
