Fabia Central Locking fault

Hi All,

I have a TDi Comfort with remote central locking. The central locking stopped the other day and will not work with either the key used remotely or when turned in the lock. Drivers door opens OK but I have to open and lock all other doors from the inside. I read about clicking the key unlock button and then opening the door quickly but no good. The door still locks and unlocks with no sound of a motor/relay tripping in, just the mechanical thunk of the door lock opening.

I am sure that this is something simple like a reset sequence?

Tried fiddling with the little key button by the window unwinders but that doesn't seem to do anything either unless I need to do things in a certain sequence.

Ok what happened last night was the key started to lock and unlock ALL the doors. No idea why. The remote doesn't work and I tried the button and lock within 10 seconds to 'recalibrate' still no good. This is now similar to what happened a month or two ago and for some reason the system started working by oitself, so there must be some combination that does it ?
