New look for Octavia

Featured Replies

Meanwhile, in 2008 Skoda will facelift its mid range Octavia range, with a front end re-style which will bring its styling into line with the new Fabia and Roomster models.

Quick order your pre update model now!

Snippet from Motor Trader website

 that will surely put a dent in thier sales:rolleyes:

IMHO any changes to the front end can not be bad. It's hideous as standard the grille is feckin huuuuge

The grille is an acquired taste. I think it looks quite nice IMHO.

Sorry no, just this link...I was looking for info on the new Superb.

Skoda moves upmarket with new Superb

Dan

I found this lurking in the bowels of google, it's obviously a mock up and I'm sure I've seen it around before.

I reckon it's pretty close to what will appear next year.

Def an aquired taste....

I think the front end of the current Octavia is really nice and very imposing (as one of my work colleagues said to me).

Looking at the roomster and pictures of the new Fabia, I guess it will only be a matter of time before Skoda mess the Octavia up too.

Hopefully the facelift will be halfway between the current look and the Roomster/Fabia front.

Yup. Had to spend some time recently in the local Skoda dealer looking at the Roomster. and it lacks all style. The front may be imposed by pedestrtrian safety standards, but it still lacks everything a car should be....
