Front Parking Sensors deactivation...possible?

Featured Replies

Just hijacked a thread in the Suberb forum asking this, probably wasn't a good idea. however...

I'm seriously considering going for an Octy II vRS - just looking at the options list...

Front and rear parking sensors (other half might be driving it ya see  ...I'm not a bad parker.......honest..!!).

Anyway - I can imagine these would get horribly annoying if you were in a queue of stop / start traffic.

Question is - Do they come with a deactivation switch on the Octy II? I would reckon this has to be essential or they would do my nut in!

Yes they do.

Ah - Goood stuff! Thanks for that - think I'll be taking them.

If it prevents one nasty scrape at the front they've paid themself off.

You get an additional button in the centre console near the TPM button.

Anyway - I can imagine these would get horribly annoying if you were in a queue of stop / start traffic.
and they will only turn on when you select reverse or press the button so they shouldnt come on in the traffic
