Hello all,

2006 1.4 16v Combi... 8000kms.

Either my car's clutch or something in the transmission/cv joint area seems to be getting quite noisy. As I need to come to the dealers armed in order for them to do anything worthwhile, I thought I would ask here first...

It makes a rattling, loose sound at take off - when I release the pedal. Also, when the car is off, pressing and releasing the clutch makes a noticeable clanking, rattling sound. I can also hear what seems to be a low rumbling sound at lower speeds in any gear - independent of brakes. To top it off, the clutch groans and doesn't move smoothly anymore.

Does any of this sound familiar? :P:mad::) What could it (they) be?
