Time needed to change 4 springs and anti roll bar?

Featured Replies

Does anybody know how long it would take to change four springs and a rear anti roll bar?....have been quoted four hours!!....which to me seems a very long time!....had four springs changed on octy RS and was in garage for about an hour and a half!!

Am i being set up for a robbing?

cheers

kit:)

To be honest, this is about right, the front springs need to be compressed and removed which can take some time. Rears ar ea bit easier and the ARB is 30 mins.

I think 3-4 hours is fair for all four and the ARB.

i recon that is about right too. i changed four springs on friday. started at 2pm and was finished for about 7ish. rear and front passenger side are easy peasy but i struggled on the drivers side as the driveshaft gets in the way.

the rear springs and ARB can be done at the same time , due to the fact that the same bolts that hold the shockers on will also hold the ARB on ,

I reckon on about an hour a side at least for the fronts , when i did mine they were a bit of a pig to do , and that was at work on a wheel free ramp with the correct spring compressor
