Tyre markings

Featured Replies

My tyres have no "DOT" code on the outside walls. They are not directional, but is it possible that there may be a code on the other (inside) wall only? Or has there been a change in the regulations so that this American mark is no longer required? The "E" codes are of course present.

Should have one :) most now are 4 figures, what make have you got on?

They are just getting their own back at the Americans for the whole freedom fries saga..

I mean can you imagine an oversized American trying to get under their car, let alone reading the DOT from the inner sidewall
