Does anybody know what wattage the glovebox bulb should be?

I finally found one in Halfords that fits the assembly, but it's 10W, which seems to high (it also got very hot when I tested it).

The bulb was missing when I got my car so I don't have an old one to refer to.

The manual rather unhelpfully doesn't mention wattage; it just says use a C3W bulb. Could that be 3 watts? The interior light is a C10W (10 watts?). Hope this helps.

Thanks very much - thought the 10W one was a bit bright!
