Featured Replies

Hi all,

Does anybody know what is included in the 1st service?

What is checked and what is replaced

Many thanks,

Fabby.

and a sump plug ;) ...and a lot of money. Have a check around the independents before you book it in. You will get a shock at the difference. ;)

and tell 'em to be careful with your sump plug... mine had 7 services and on the 8th the sump was due to be "re threaded" which may not work... then you're looking at a new sump :( the garage told me sometimes the threads only last one service!!! and they don't replace under warranty either :( oh , and yes, I forgot about the pollen filter... changed every service I believe.. :)

Sump plug should be replaced at the service IIRC. If you're a one service a year person, it'll also include an "inspection". If you're a two service a year person, just get them to do a "lube" service this time :D

So to keep the car in warranty you have to pay nearly

To keep the warranty in tact, it has to be serviced by a VAT-registered garage using OEM (or better) parts and to Skoda's service schedule. No need to go near a main dealer at all :D
