auto changer ate my cd's

Featured Replies

Has anybody had trouble with the 6 cd auto changer. Mine showed a fault code and wouldn't eject my discs. When sent away it could take months before they are returned. These are all brand new cd's and it is very frustrating. This auto changer was replaced under warrantry.

Only use CD-Rs in mine, I'm afraid - just for this very reason...and, no. Never happened.

The dealer should be able to get them out for you.

Most changers have a spring release somewhere, if not the dealer can open the old one up for you. Another idea could be to pull the lead frem the back of the unit, so as to restart the unit. on powerup it should eject all the cd's
