'01 Fabia front wheel bearings Q. ?

Featured Replies

Hello,

once again I find myself asking questions for possibly the worst car we've ever had. :D

Are the front wheel bearings on an '01 fabia an easy job ?

Will I need to get them pressed out of the hub ? Or do they just " pop out "

thanks.

Mr unhappy 8v :thumbdwn:

They aren't really a DIY jobbie, they can be pressed but should really be put in with the correct puller tool. Wheel bearing comes complete with hub and ABS rotor.

Lets just hope I don't have to do both of them.

Sorry, but you probably will have to!:( On wife`s Fabia the first one broke after 20k, the other one 3k later!
