can anybody tell me the height of their drivers seat at the lowest setting?....have measured mine from the floor (with mat) to the lip of the seat at the front and its one foot exactly. have just got a new fab RS and the seat doesnt seem to go as low as all the fab RS's i have been in!!....its causing my leg to get sore due the high seat position.

ps....its five inches from the base of the rear of the seat to the floor.

On me 04 UK spec vRS with the seat at lowest setting I make it -

Front: 32cm (1foot and half an inch old money)

Back: 16cm (6 and a quarter inches old money)

- from your description, I think I've measured the same places.

Does the seat feel like its a lot different from other ones you've driven?

cheers for that:).....fletch measured his for me and its the same as mine but both of us noticed that his sits lower!!....the plot thickens!!.....fletch thought that maybe the seat padding is thicker on mine!!....all i know is that its far too high for me!!:(

Strange question, but is it definitely the seat which sits lower, or the car as a whole? I imagine his ICE is pretty heavy

nah you can feel the seat nearly going to the floor!!.......mines like driving a van!!
