Looks good. Your rims seem to be totally chip free. Do you always park on grass to protect them?

Nope i just take it steady on the road and when parking near kurbs. if you look closely at the rear wheel you can see that the laquar is pealing.

nice!

looking good there chap

Hey skudmissile! I see you went for the old Weitecs then. Car looks very nice mate, are you happy with them, handling and ride wise? Also I find that because they are green, they look really nice when on as they go with the brake calipers well - people have actually complemented me about them thinking i had them sprayed

alright james.

yer they are spot on. ride is not that much firmer than standard but goes round corners like it should now  yup they look like they were ment to be on haha.

Not too bad thanks, the Furby has been in the garage for two weeks now, and still dont know when i will get her back, but as long as they do a good job i dont mind! Hoping to have her back for Gti International on June 16th and 17th, you planning on going to that?

And any compensation money i get can be spent on a more 'presents' for the vRS!

Glad you like the springs tho, after i said they were good! They are for the money,

I was hoping to compare my black vRS to yours, one being lowered (yours) and another not (mine) - but yours dosen't look that much lower?

This isn't meant to be a jibe, but I can't really see the difference.

Is this the standard drop that people go for? and is it more of a handling thing than a styling thing?

Yer i think this is the most popular drop on the vrs. people either go for the eibachs @-25mm or the weitecs at -25mm.

i dont think i would want to go much lower as the under tray hits the speed humps now as it is and the sump is not far off the road .

like u said you cant really tell from the pictures but in the flesh i noticed it does look lower. ie if parkeed next to a standard one u can see the difference.

the ride is almost the same as standard but it feels more planted to road at speed and less boat like in the corners. my next mod is going to be the rear ARB which should improve it even more

looking very good am considering those springs myself and your coments on ride quality may have just made my mind up:thumbup:

The springs are worth the money. ride is good but like standard can be a little jarring over bumps and lumps.

rrp for the springs is

I didnt know they supplied Weitec - damn u learn something new everyday!

Yeh i know mate i got plenty of uni exams coming up! Right im guna go do some revision now - i spend too much time on here! hehe

Oilburninut said they dont look much different, i agree, but when two cars are parked next to each other is really is noticable. I think that is the appeal, they dont make the car look slammed.

Anyhow see ya Skudmissile, good luck in the old uni exams bud!
