Hi,

Picking up my Fabia VRs SE next week so I figured this would be a good place to hang out and gain some useful hints and tips on VRs ownership.

Switching from a 300bhp Scooby so the Furby might be a bit of a shock to the right foot for a little while till I re-adjust.

The good thing is that my wallet will be a little less light at the end of each month going from 20 Mpg on SUL to 50 Mpg on deisel.

Are there any Skoda approved modifications available that won't invalidate the warrantee ?

Mobility cars. Are they worth it

I currently got a 2008 octavia vrs but I've become a bit disabled over the years need my hip replaced ect Now I need an automatic and I can get a car on the mobility scheme. Has anyone got experience with this. I like the look of the new leons and noticed you can get them and they cover the insurance and everything. but would i be better off getting a used one and putting the money towards that instead

My recent (non-Skoda) cars have given dashboard warnings when the battery in the key fob runs down. This gives the driver the opportunity to change the battery and to keep the key functional. The battery in my Superb's key fob recently ran down, and it went from fully operational (working the button "plip" as well as the keyless entry) to completely flat during the course of a day at work. Hey up, If anyone is jacking up their car soon are you able to take pictures of exactly where you put the trolley jack (pictures of the jack and any pucks used would be amazing) And where you put the axle stands.
