Amplified antenna connction

Featured Replies

HELP !!!!

I have just taken out my Symphony HU and installed Sony GTX410 U ( Brill sound from USB stick).

I have the antenna amp pc5-52 & it has the blue wire coming off, the instructions enclose, although in english, might as well be in chinese, as I cannot work out where the blue wire connects :confuse:

I have done a search around, but to no avail .:( can anyone help ? PLEASE :weeping:

Update :- the location in the ISO block already has a wire in it, where the instructions say to put the arial amp wire. ?

Would I be right in saying that this Taps into PIN 5 - automatic arial ??????

I remember doing mine... I think it went into a switched live feed - either a red or yellow wire. Not directly into the ISO connectors. It was ages ago so I might be wrong!

Connect the blue wire to the automatic aerial connection on the radio (blue/white stripe I think).

Sounds like if your using the incorrect ISO adapter theres two types the one with the antenna live going into the other end of the iso block and on the other (the correct one) theres a blue wire coming off it to connect to the antenna amp

The wrong one powers the K line and will mess up your central locking and stuff :)

I have the autoleads adaptor with the flying blue wire, do I just connect the antenna booster blue wire to this (are they a mating pair)?
