do I have ISOFIX?

Featured Replies

We've got an '04 plate Superb and the manual talks about something like "isofix funnels" or similar for the car. When the back seats are folded down, I *think* I can see a set of fixings where you'd clip an isofix seat in, but I've not got corresponding holes or slits in the bottom of the seats to get to them.

Have I got isofix capability or not?

TIA!

If it's like the Mk 1 Octavia then the isofix fittings on the child car seat goes between the base and upright of the seat.

The car seat I bought for my daughter came with 2 plastic guides which attach to the lugs so it's easier to attach the seat because you can't really see the lugs as the seat gets in the way.

HTH.

I have a 52 plate Superb and have used a pair of ISOFIX seats in the rear. The plastic guides mentioned in the earlier post are a must if you want to protect the seats.

Thanks for all the helpful replies.

I spoke to the local dealer who didn't seem to know what I/he was talking about. Spoke to Skoda UK customer care who instantly said YES! Spoke to the local Audi specialist who confirmed with Skoda UK using the chassis number and also checked himself.

Long story short, we've now got a Britax Evolva 23 ISOFIT plugged into the back seat - YES!
