Hello,iv got a 04 plate fabia vrs with a flashing oil pressure light,does anybody know the location of the switch or what could be causing it to flash? The oil level is correct and the car sounds fine. Regards Paul

iirc the oil pressure switch is on the oil filter housing on the front of the engine block...

Indeed, i'd have a look at the wiring loom going to it. Had a similar one a while ago and damn rodents had chewed through the loom.

Thanks to everyones help i have found the problem....oil pressure switch had sheared off completely!!! Fitted new switch plus an oil change and now everything is oakey dokey.
