after my exhaust rattle, the car went into the garage and have fixed the car under warranty.

turns out the middle silencer bracket had rusted. also some pressure charge valve. any ideas what that is?

oh the total cost would have been

I know that i have posted in 3-4 other topics the photos of my modified console (in various stages) but i think it's proper to have them all in one topic plus informations for the step by step procedure. Maybe another member will read it and try to modify his or someone can find via Google Search the photos and have an inspiration. I have done an Upgrade in mine and in the future i will make another one modification so let's take everything from the beginning. Note: Some photos are from internet

Infotainment system switches itself on

Hi, It happened twice now that I walked past my parked and locked Mk IV Octavia and I noticed that the infotainment system was on and the radio playing. Anyone had this before? Both times it was on a sunny day, so quite warm inside the car. Is there any way so that the infotainment system can only be switched on with a key present? Car is from Sep 2020 with 1941 software version. Thanks, Peter

Does anyone have any recommendations for reasonably priced insurance companies outside of the comparison sites. Everyone said policies had gone up last year but mine was still ok, but it's gone up higher than I'd like this year. I'm in my 40's, driving for 27 years, full no claims. Maybe its the same for everyone but it feel like robbery when it's a 2010 car, Skoda superb elegance, TDI, DSG. When I bought it it was about £400, got it down to £185 and its back to £300

I recently bought a used 2024 (built 2023) diesel Octavia Vrs. Although my phone - Motorola G9play - shows on the Skoda website as compatible with the infotainment system, I have been unable to link the phone after multiple attempts. Has anyone had this as an issue and found a solution?

Hi All. Just got a 2019 Karoq 2019 SE L........i've noted other people have had an uncomvortable seat experience but its not many. The seats are nurdering my mid/upper back and I cannot find a position that works. I drive several cars each year and have been driving for over 20 years....never had anything like this happen.
