Fabia coilovers same as the Polo 9N?

Featured Replies

First post on this site.....

I've done a search but can't find the right answer, basically I'd like to know if coilovers for a Polo 9N also fit the Fabia? I think the suspension is the same setup on the Polo and the Fabia but don't trust VAG enough to be certain of this.

The FK part numbers are different, but that doesn't really say much!

Can anyone help? I've got a brand new set for sale and would like to shift them, but don't know if I can offer them to Fabia owners!

Cheers

I've been told by a Fabia owner on here that Polo 9N, Fabia, Audi A2 and Ibiza suspension is the same.

It is the same physical fitment yes. However this doesnt mean they are all suitable for each other as they will have different body and axle weights so the spring and damper weights will change.

audi a2??

err... i thought they had different rear suspension?? very similar to a lupo?

with the coilovers I suspect the damping and coil rates to be almost identical if not identical, and you can adjust the height to suit.

I imagine if there is one set of coilovers for an entire Polo range, then this should also cover the range for the Fabia, unless anyone can say why not?

Cheers for the info guys, it was more the geometry I was worried about - drop links are so on.

When i recived my coilovers, they said sutible for Skoda Fabia / Polo 9N / Audi A2 / Seat Ibiza
