best to do after Lifeshine

Featured Replies

Hi all

I have just bought a red octavia, and it has the autoglym lifeshine package on it.

any ideas what is the best thing to do to keep it clean, it came immaculate from the garage i must add (ingrams, ayr) (apart from a smell of ex smoker from the air con!!):thumbdwn:

anywho, i was thinking of not polishing (to preserve lifeshine), but waxing, bought autoglym aquawax.

prob is i live in block of flats, so doing it with too many buckets/hose aint a real option,

there is a jet wash nearby with bay once rinsed, should i avoid the jet wash to do an initial rinse? (even on just spray, and doing from a distance to be careful)??

any thoughts be appreciated. Thanks.

Jet wash is no problem. Take a wash mitt and bucket with you.

I would apply a really good pure wax like Swissol. That should give a really exceptional shine over your Lifeshine stuff.

BTW, you didnt pay for the Autoglym stuff did you?? Is your car new?

oops, apologies, meant to say thanks for the help about the power wash!

so, lifeshine, good or bad?!

IMHO.....waste of money.

But I like washing and waxing.!!

I had mine jewelultra finished imagine it similar to auto life shine. expensive but wow always looks great like new and outshines most others i see. washed dead easy only other thing is application of konserver after washing once a month dead easy to do tho like a post rinse.

konserver?

Konserver as spelt on bottle but it is a danish product. not sure exactly but it looks and mells like brasso 2 capfulls to 2 gallons and quicly rinse car after washing. However 1 capfull to half a bucket seems enough for my car.
