MFD2 and Stream question

Featured Replies

Hi,

silly question. If I decide to re-fit my stream HU after taking out an MFD2, will I need a pin code for the stream (as I will do for the MFD2)? Didn't want to be left without a radio of any form.

Any help would be appreciated.

Nope, it will be fine, my stream went back into my Octavia after about 8 months and it worked perfectly first time.

Cheers matey,

that's one worry out of the way.

Oi, don't knock HAL, he is a legend! :D

SWMBO doesn't like the avatar or HAL himself so it's just one more reason to use it.

That's what happens when you tell a computer to lie, it kills eveyone!

Not knocking HAL honest, just scared of him looking out the computer at me!

SWMBO got rather annoyed when I stuck it on her laptop as the desktop background when she wasn't looking and it made her jump somewhat.

Should have added a sound clip of HAL saying "good morning, Dave"

You are too kind! :D

She will not be amused...............

Perhaps it will be her who knocks you out then ;)

Kewl Link Vrs,

just a shame it's missing the "Good morning Dave" one, that voice still freaks me out.

Im sure Mr Gates must have been influenced by the "I'm sorry I can't do that" when he thought up Windoze

ah, that's because "Good Morning Dave" is not actually a line in 2001.

The phrase was used in ID4 (Independence Day) when Jeff Goldblum's character (David Levinson) boots up his MacBook and a HAL-type desktop is seen also as a homage to 2001.
