Hi everyone, just registered. Only had my Skoda 3 years, Fabia Classic 1.4 TDI 2004 model.

I have had an ongoing problem with the Power Steering warning light coming on which the dealers cannot diagnose. The Power Steering fails after about 500 yds if you do not turn off the ignition (wait 10 seconds) then turn it back on again. It only seems to happen when it is cold outside!! Does anyone have any similar problems, or a solution?

Any fault codes?

No codes, just the warning light on the dash, which goes out after restarting the ignition.
