Variable service too soon?

Featured Replies

My VRS petrol got its first service at 16,500 and now Maxidot is telling me that it needs its next service in 900 miles. The car is now sitting at 24,900 miles - surely this cannot be right under variable servicing?

Me thinks that as the car got a new flywheel and clutch under warranty 2,000 miles ago(which is now starting to shudder again on take up!!!) could it be the dealer accidently reset it to standard servicing.

Sounds like it was reset to fixed at the first service.

It does sound like it has been switched to fixed servicing, go and ask the dealer they will soon be able to tell you!
