suspension again

Featured Replies

I drive a 02 TDi 110 occy estate and feel the suspension is now a bit wobbly 70K on clock, I want to beef up the rear suspension a bit, i did this previously with a monroe load leveller shocks (on a previous car).

anyone any recommendations? sorry being a typicall TDi driver I am tight so cheap recommendations :D .

also anyone advise the procedure for doing the suspension on an occy especially any pit falls. It all looks fairly standard.

Dean :o

Can't speak for estate but rear suspension on hatch is sooooooo simple it's child's play. Spring compressors are all you need.

Yeah, estate is the same as the hatch. As Nick says, spring compressors and spanners are all you need. Handle compressed springs with care. May need some WD40 as well - the various fixings may have suffer the dreaded rust.
