I've had the same thing... Was with Tesco did the usual internet search for quotes... of which Tesco quoted cheaper new than on my renewal!! Got a quote from More Than which worked out loads cheaper... Guess they like Skoda drivers:thumbup:

Just make sure that the insurance company have quoted for the correct vehicle. eg. vRS and not 4x4.

The wrong vehicle quotes usually occur because the V5C has an error on it. If you send the V5C back to the DVLA your problem should vanish. I got fed up with my old vRS being a 1.9TDi ambiente with a 1.8 engine that run on petrol. All sorted very promptly by the DVLA.
