Just a quickie here about the switches under my dual zone climate control thingy. There are 5 switches of which I have 4 and the other is blank. What the heck is the other one for?

For reference, I have the passenger airbag one, the ESP one, the tyre pressure one and the parking sensor one. I am looking for the purpose of the switch between the airbag and tyre pressure switches.

I may be wrong here but I think it's for the auxiliary heater that's available in colder countries.

I can't think of anywhere else where the aux heater switch could go apart from there.

You're lucky, I only have Passenger airbag indicator and ESP switch!

I believe it to be a switch for Taxi's although I'm not sure what it does!.

The aux heater I believe goes on the bottom half of the fan speed dial.

I thpught it may be a spare for beacons or something like that.

I think he's talking about the swithces below that, where ESP, ASR, Airbag, TPM switches are. :confused:

It disconnects the indicators

The Aux heater was the only thing I could think of that is rarely seen on an Octavia. Everything else is more or less accounted for.

It may well be on the climatronic unit and the spare button below might be for a future gadget that is not as yet available. :confused:
