If you can get/find one I'd go for the 110bhp TDi....which would be an SLX spec model.

Peformance difference is marked and gives around the same economy.

GLX is slightly quieter IMHO but obviously doesn't come with the same spec as SLX.

Also if you plan to do mods at a later date 110 will give circ 160bhp...as Stuart and Wendy.

Have you had a ganders at what Sherlodge may have? As has been said, if you can find a SLX then go for that as that has the 110hp tdi lump in it. Far better performance and near identical economy figures.

Welcome, the price they quoted seems reasonable, Skuds seem to go for a bit over the Parkers / Glass's guide prices, in fact I am aware of some dealers having waiting lists for 2nd hand diesel estates !

Well, I am now the owner of a "Stone Grey" Octavia Estate Elegance TDi and so far I am very pleased with it. Even my son, who has an Audi S3 has to admit it's much better than he was expecting.
