Cd Changer Slots

Featured Replies

Hi

I've been exploring my Octy vRS. i am just wondering what the two spare slots are above my CD changer. They are all the same size. Any idea what could fit these??

Will

Anything DIN sized.

Nav ECU, amp, phone module, TMC receiver to name but a few options.

Can you daisy chain an extra cd changer in there?

Nope as I believe it is hardwired so the extra current draw may affect the original changers performance as it is sucking electricity from it or it may cause fuses to blow.

Anyway the software wouldn't be able to determine which of the two is active as it was never designed to do such a thing. Plus there are only 6 cd select buttons.

the unhelpful sales guy when i bought mine said it was for putting cd cases.

The slots are pretty good for CD cases as it goes :D

You could put a small pot plant in there and close the door - it wont fall over.

I take it a DVD player could quite easily be wired in there? Anyone wired monitor(s) from a DVD player in the back?
