You can use which ever wire becomes live when the headunit is on. One depending on radio will be blue with a white strip and have a tag or something with like 3amp on it. Thats the best to use i have found with the autoleads boosters as it produces less interference. u can also use the sold blue wire but i think this is a larger amperage as it is used to controll automatic areials.

what headunit do you have?

you can either use that wire then or i think the kewood is the one with the low amped blue with white wire so could also use that.

Quick question, i got the same booster but couldn't see how to fit it so left it out when fitting my new blaupunkt hu last night.

Net result is no mw reception.

The hu didn't come with any wiring loom and i connected it to the cars wiring with an autoleads adaptor.

Could you please explain how to fit the booster (an idiots guide please!) and would this solve my missing mw?

Many thanks!

On the HU there is a blue, blue/white wire for amps and ariel usually called remote turn on. Just connect that to the blue in the photo up top then plug in the amp in line to your ariel.

bob's your uncle, fannie's your aunt

how much are these boosters as my radio reception is poor at best

the boosters can also boost interference if you didnt already know that...

if i wanted loud white noise id just turn my radio one preset up to max lol
