hi well i came across this site and well me dads a member (jimbo55) and i had a few questions!!

i just bought an 2002 fabia 1.4 16v :D and it has a tape player and was wondering what people would recommend to replace it with

i also would like 2 know if i should change the standard speakers or keep them???

if i should change them then what would you recommend ????

You can pick up some very reasonably priced CD headunits these days

Hiya.

The standard head unit is pretty poor but the speakers in the fabia aren't actually too bad.

I'd suggest a new CD head unit and see what that sounds like then consider replacing the speakers if needed.

You'll need a fascia adaptor to fill the gap in the dashboard as the standard unit is a bit big - skoda dealers do a good one for about three or four quid.

You'll also need an adaptor to feed power to the aerial or the reception will be poor - plenty of places do these for abut
