hi everyone

have a 2006 A5 octavia 1.6 fsi with steel wheels and 195/65/15 tyres

can i fit mk1 alloys to octy also can i fit other volks/audi alloy wheels

to it ,been looking on e-bay many thanks

The answer to your first part is no, you cannot fit MkI Octy wheels to a MkII Octy as the PCD is different.

The second part is yes you can fit other VAG wheels to the MkII Octy but you must make sure you get the correct PCD and Offset. For the A5 Octy you should be looking at wheels with the following spec:

PCD 112

Offset 51 (depending on rim dia and tyre width)

Have you decided on what size you want or are you looking to get alloys to fit the tyres you currently have?

Feel free to post a link if you want them checked to make sure they will fit.

Oh, welcome to the Forum btw.

i would like alloys to fit the tyres that i have as the car was pre registeredby skoda and sat in a showroom until jan this year i brought it with 12 miles on

the clock at it has only done 4000 now

Just had a quick look on ebay and cannot see any that would fit your car in 15".

Spec you need is.............

15" dia

5.5 to 7.0J width (will fit 195 tyres), you will find most are 6.5J

5 x 112 PCD

ET50 or 51

Run the steels until the tyres run down and while you do look for a set of 15", 16" or 17" octy II alloys.

You can then get tyres put on them and change them at your leisure :)
