I remember that well, iirc the 20-40 time is as quick or quicker than a lot of much more sporty cars, the only thing is that most of the sporty cars can keep going in 2nd onto 60-70 where the furby has to change gear :o

Yes it is a mini fridge, but only works if you have turned the dial in the glove box and have the AC on. Never actually tried it so I dont know how good it is.

I remember once going to buy a carlton diplomat and that had a fridge in the glove box but that was a long time ago.

Also.... there's a small can/Mars Bar cooler compartment in the lower dash on the righthand side of the steering colum, it works when the aircon is on and is controlled by the integral lever. :)

Yeah, Fabia's are COOL cars ! :D

second gear really pulls hard.

it also pulls well in 3rd n 4th too:cool: just ask the Porsche Boxter I followed home the other day lol torque = gooooooooooood:thumbup:

I wouldn't bother with colour coding the handles, just get some chrome milotec covers, I have these on my silver one. I think Chris has some for sale on this forum, going for around

i saw the chrome ones, but im morraly against anything that could in any way make my car resembel a rap mobile.....Bling Bling foool!

also, forgot to mention. its an 06 and pretty pleased to report no sign of stuttering!

its waranty doesnt run out for a while so looking for a 'plug in' remap.

this topic is exhausted on this forum (and every car forum ever) so im not going to start a new topic just for askings sake.....BUUUT:

two quick questions.

what should i type into the search to get the topics discussing plug in remaps NOT a remap done on laptop type thing e.g. superchip or whatever

and if you buy a plug in modual is it just a generic pd130 box that wouldnt take into account a pd160 intake etc, or do they do you a personalised map then save the settings on the box?

and i suppose while im thinking about it, any names of reputable tuning boxes?

cheers, and forgive my adding to the list of people who have now asked this question! :)

Keep it std enjoy it and save what you would spend on those unnecessary upgrades as a savings account to pay for future serving costs - that way you will keep it in tip top condition.

The red doesnt fade like you'd imagine I did have a W reg GT TDI 115 and have given it to my parents it still has not even began to look faded.

so thats 7/8 years old the vRS at its oldest can only be a 2003 car so assuming you bought that then you still have another 3-4 years before anything will happen and by which time I'd have thought you might have changed it by then.
