Need a parallel port splitter... ideas?

Featured Replies

Basically we have a dongle at work for AutoCAD. Only one of us uses the software at a time, but its a right pain removing the dongle from the parallel port on each machine each time we want to use it...

I've seen these switches before that allow 2 machines to use 1 parallel printer... we really want a manual switch.

Does such a thing even exist?

Ta in advance fellow Briskodians!!!

Used to use something like this many moons ago for sharing a printer. Would imagine it should do the same job with a dongle....?

Perfect!!!

Remember we had those at my primary school! Oh the memories...

Word of warning - a mechanical switch should NOT be used when the PCs are on, as the dongle may get damaged (believe me, I've blown up a fair few :P )

Electronic switch with a manual selection is safer by a long shot :)

iv got autocad 2007 with crack codes if you need a copy??:)
