came on last night..and first thing this morning..but in a mid morning trip out its gone out now

faulty sensor?

dodgy cat conv?

car seems to be running ok, no chugging...manual says drive it with care and dont spank it..its booked in for a look but it feels as if its running as fine as it did before the light came on!

Could be a faulty lamba probe as I've had that on a Golf before but really it could be anything as it's a pretty generic warning.

had the same problem on my first octavia with only 3000 miles on the clock

they put a new lamba in under warranty.

it then went again after 11000 miles. they said that it is a common fault.

well it went off yesterday afternoon and hasnt come back on since...did have it booked in next week...but may cancel that and just pop in next weekend if it stays off and they can have a quick look...
