PD 140 Cambelt Change - revisited

Featured Replies

I know there has been lots of posts on the subject of when the Cambelt should be changed.

I have just had my PD140 Elegance back from its first years service (free) and the supplied service form SKO Rev 05/05 has highlighted on the back - as part of the original form not highlighted by the garage

"Replace toothed belt and tensioning pulley for camshaft drive (diesel engine PD) at 80,000 miles"

Is my garage using an old form as other posts have mentioned, 60,000 and 40,000 miles.

There is no mention of a change by age either

It is 80,000 and by now the dealer shouldnt be using a generic service form, it should be a specific service sheet printed off of ELSA for your car.
