There is a blue flame exhaust system for slae on e-bay(Link below). Is this a good proce? Does it improve BHP and if so buy how much??? and finally does it sound better than the standard one which, well kind of dribbles.

Only thing i dont like about diesels is the lack of a decent note from the exhaust!

The sound, has to be one of the nicest sounds I've ever heard, as it goes by you.

It's louder in the car, but not loud enough to hear it make a change.

Tunnels are a lot of fun. Definately a worth while modification.

I really doubt, anyone has tried numerous exhausts on their Fabia's.

Once this system is fitted you will experience massive power gains with no other modifications

I agree. Removing the cat is a very effective mod

You will have to excuse my stupidity here but...does the shape of the silencer, i.e 2 tail pipes, oval pipe round pipe etc.. effect the sound generated by the exhaust system?

Of course, how is another matter. TBH the clatter of the diesel drowns out a lot of the good tones.

Thats just a pipe and a rear silencer.

You will get more out of a full turbo back system and considering the cost difference you might as well have it done while your having the work done. TBH a cat back wont give you much more than sound.
