I thought I'd posted a hello hast night, but in the sober light of day it appears that I didn't :-(

Anyway, I've had my Octavia TDi estate for 4 and a bit years, and a couple of weeks ago we added a Fabia 1.2 12V for my other half.

Octavia is stock apart from me fitting a Parrot hands-free last weekend, and the Fabia's in need of a little paint to get it pretty, but that should happen over the next few weeks.

As I'm starting to get my hands dirty on the two of them, expect lots of questions :-)

Cheers (and to all),

so far, I've found answers in the archives for all the questions I've wanted to answer.

I have removed the shrubbery from my pollen filter, and turned off Traffic Programme on my Symphony CD player. I now know how to retro-fit cruise control and parking sensors, though in truth probably won't do either, especially as I've got the first INSP service to do first. I've also got the part numbers for all of the little things I'd like to add in the cabin and boot (though in truth...)

I suspect for now, I'll get the body repairs done that need doing, fit a hands-free kit and just drive the Fabia, rather than turn it into a mobile Halfords.

Oh and I'll moan on about how dreadful the fuel consumption is on the Fabia compared with my Octavia, especially when "making progress" :)
