Remaped

Featured Replies

Hi could any one tell me whether my car is standard or has been remaped?

I logged this acording to the guide at ross tech

boostpressureproper1.jpg

boost pressure 2.txt

I would say no.

i would say yes it is remapped its actual peak boost is around 2900milbar. to get the actual boost you have to subtract the atomosphic pressure around 1000milbar so its producing actual boost of around 1.9bar :eek:

it could just be a faulty map sensor reading boost wrong but my guess looking at the way the boost is distributed throught the rev range is that this car is probably had some kind of remap.

Would a faultly map sensor not throw up a fault code? If it is boosting at 1.9 bar surely the clutch would be slipping? Its fabia 130pd just incase there is any confussion. Thanks for th help so far lads

I would say yes. Looks like your map requests 1.5bar compared to stock 1.35bar.
