I am looking into getting the EGR valve turned down or off. If the EGR vlave is turned off, will the cel light still come on? Also, would I be better buying a EGR valve replacement pipe or just leaving the EGR valve fitted to the vehicle?

You cant turn it off only down.

No engine light when its turned right down. EGR replacement pipe will leave an EGR error.

Does anyone know of any Vag com enabled garage either in newark or notts that could do the required work for me? Or would my localish (23 miles away) Skoda dealer be able to do it?
